WHEW!! At least THAT is finally over.
Yes, you know what I mean.
No more political ads every 3 minutes. No more "Mitt"ens. No more bickering, squabbling, insults, and "he said/(s)he said" ad nauseum...
Well, okay. Maybe two out of the three. I know the bickering will still continue. It's politics, so that's what they do. I think instead of calling it "politics", they should call it "Whickering." You know - a combo of whining & bickering.
Okay, enough of that. I can't stand that political (whickering) crap, so let's move on to something more exciting.
Like NCIS, for instance. And more specifically, the new issue of TV Guide that features NCIS, including a possible 12 different covers.
Thankfully, I got the Ziva/Cote cover - though I would have been happy with most of them. The NCIS facebook page displayed all of the covers yesterday.
How cool are they? Ducky/Jimmy, Tiva, McAbby...oh wait. Uh, Gibbs/Abby and McGee and ...Vance? (here comes the Jane Rizzoli voice) Really?
Speaking of Jane Rizzoli - (remember that Rizzoli & Isles returns on November 27th) I noticed that Revolution is going to do the split-schedule thing like R&I does. That annoys me, but I guess it's better than having a long break between seasons. I still really like Revolution - as long as they keep Nora around.
I just read that Stargate SG-1 & Farscape alum, Ben Browder, has joined the cast of Arrow. That's another show that I've really enjoyed as it's gone on. I have to admit to being disappointed when I read the headline that an SG-1/Farscape actor was going to be on. I had hoped that it would have been Claudia Black instead. Oh well.
Speaking of SG-1, the new issue of TV Guide also featured a small article on Morena Baccarin - a former SG-1 baddie - on Homeland. I sure wish the show was on a channel that I actually get.
Being a Wednesday, that means new episodes of Arrow, Nashville, SVU, CSI, and Chicago Fire.
Chicago Fire has been my favorite show of the Wednesday night schedule so far. It seems that Nashville is usually the odd one out, as I normally just skim through CSI, and am able to watch SVU (as it's an hour earlier than the others), so I think I'm already a couple weeks behind on Nashville already.
Necessary Roughness fans (Heather?!) will be pleased to see Callie Thorne in an upcoming ep of Elementary (next week)
On a final note, I had to "awww" at the look back at Cagney & Lacey in the new issue of TVG. However, Sharon Gless' bug-eyed glasses still make me laugh hysterically every time I see them.
